Rosh Pinah Primary School wins awards at the Jewish School Awards 2016

The Jewish School Awards were held in London on the 27th January.  In September and October 2015, parents, pupils and colleagues submitted over 280 nominations for 125 primary and secondary school teachers in four categories.  These were shortlisted to three finalists per award.

Two teachers came home with awards from Rosh Pinah Primary School in Barnet which is headed up by Education 101 Angela Gartland.

Katie Presser won the ‘Award for Innovation in Primary School Secular Studies’ and Rabbi Jonathan Spector was a finalist in the ‘Award for Innovation in Primary School Jewish Studies’

Outstanding Teacher Coaching Programme secured across nine schools in the North East

Education 101 Outstanding Education Services has won a contract with the East Cleveland Education Improvement Partnership in the North East of England, to coach 56 teachers across nine schools in its region.  The Education 101 coaching programme guarantees that teachers taking part in the course become ‘good,’ or ‘outstanding’ practitioners within 10 weeks. 

The founder of Education 101 comments, ‘We are very excited at the prospect of working with the East Cleveland Education Improvement Partnership to drive up teaching standards across the region, which will benefit pupils and the wider community.  We have dedicated and very experienced coaches who are extremely excited at the prospect of starting this coaching programme in February’.
